What types of scholarships are available?
There is a huge range of scholarship opportunities available for university students across the world, ranging from partial scholarships which cover some tuition fees, to full scholarships which cover the duration of your studies. The majority of scholarships cover tuition fees only, leaving students to cover their own living costs.
There are also many different types of scholarships for international students from certain regions, or even students studying in a certain field. For instance, many students from developing countries, including parts of Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, can apply for specific scholarships, as can many students from all over the world looking to study in a STEM-related field (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
What happens, if I detect mistakes after forwarding the applications to the institutes?
You should separately inform the mistakes detected by you to the Scholarship Nodal Officer of your Institute. The software provides a facility at the level of the institute to correct information provided by the applicant.
What should I do, if I do not find my institute name in the drop-down menu?
You should immediately approach the institute to contact the District Officer of the District where the institute is located. If your institute is an eligible institution, the District Officer would enter it into the database and then you can apply.
What documents do I have to submit with the printout of the application?
You have to submit an Original Caste Certificate, Original Income Certificate, Copy of the First page of the Bank Passbook(showing the IFSC Code of the Bank & Bank Account Number), and Disability Certificate(if any) along with the printout of the Application. Institute would verify the original certificates & return back to the students.
